Playbook and strategy limits by plan
Playbook limits answer three different questions:
- How many Playbooks can I keep saved?
- How many of those Playbooks can be active at once?
- How much strategy logic can be active inside those Playbooks?
Those limits work together. Having room for another saved Playbook does not automatically mean there is room to activate it.
Current standard public defaults
| Limit | Starter | Pro | Max |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saved Playbooks | 3 | 8 | 24 |
| Active Playbooks | 1 | 4 | 8 |
| Strategies per Playbook | 1 | 3 | 5 |
| Active strategies | 1 | 12 | 40 |
The signed-in account's effective limits are authoritative if they differ from these standard defaults.
Saved Playbooks
The saved-Playbook limit controls how many Playbooks can remain in your account at the same time.
A Playbook can count toward saved capacity even when it is not active. Duplicating a Playbook also creates another saved Playbook when copying is permitted.
When the saved limit is reached, you may need to delete an unneeded eligible Playbook or move to a plan with more capacity before saving another one.
Active Playbooks
The active-Playbook limit controls how many Playbooks can participate in current evaluation at the same time.
If the active limit is reached, you can keep additional Playbooks saved and inactive. Deactivate another active Playbook when you want to switch which ideas are currently being monitored.
Deactivation does not erase the Playbook's earlier Trade History.
Strategies per Playbook
This limit controls how many supported strategies can be stored inside one Playbook.
AI Playbook Builder creates a complete Playbook with one supported strategy. After saving, an eligible user can edit the Playbook and add more strategies up to the current account limit.
Active strategies
The active-strategy limit is the combined strategy capacity across active Playbooks.
For example, a plan can allow several active Playbooks while still limiting the total number of strategies those active Playbooks can run together. This is why activation can be blocked even when the active-Playbook count itself is not full.
Check the effective limit before changing the Playbook
If Save or Activate is unavailable, do not immediately rebuild the strategy. First compare current usage with the signed-in limits shown in Settings → Billing and Settings → Playbooks.
Check:
- saved Playbooks used versus allowed;
- active Playbooks used versus allowed;
- strategies inside the Playbook versus the per-Playbook limit;
- total strategies across all active Playbooks versus the active-strategy limit.
