When a market-context card is blank or unavailable, first identify which market and data type you are expecting. Supported market coverage, card capacity, selected expiry/context, and temporary data availability are different issues and need different fixes.
Confirm the market is supported
Check that the selected instrument is part of TensorAlgo's current supported futures or crypto coverage.
If a market you expect is missing from a selector or appears inactive, use A supported market is missing or appears inactive before changing the dashboard layout.
Check the data type
GEX / OI and Crypto Gamma are not interchangeable feeds.
- GEX / OI provides supported options-derived context for eligible futures markets.
- Crypto Gamma provides supported crypto gamma context where that feature is enabled.
A supported crypto instrument can still have different market-context capabilities from another supported crypto instrument.
Check the card and account capacity
The signed-in account has an effective limit for GEX/Gamma cards and streamed symbols.
If a new card cannot be added or a market cannot be streamed, compare current usage with Settings → Billing before treating the missing card as a data outage.
Check the selected context or expiry
For GEX / OI, the selected expiry or available options context affects what the card can show. If one expiry has no usable current data, use the supported expiry controls or fallback behavior shown by the product rather than assuming the entire market is unavailable.
Use Understand GEX expiry selections for the current expiry workflow.
Refresh once and compare another supported view
If the card was previously working:
- refresh the dashboard once;
- confirm the instrument and card settings did not change;
- check whether another supported market/context card is updating;
- check whether the issue is isolated to GEX / OI, Crypto Gamma, or all live market data;
- avoid repeatedly deleting and recreating the card while the underlying data is temporarily unavailable.
Futures market state can matter
Some futures dashboard behavior changes around market closures and maintenance windows. A missing live update during a closed or maintenance period is different from a supported market disappearing from the product entirely.
Crypto market availability and Crypto Gamma availability also should not be assumed to follow the same schedule as futures data.
Use the specific troubleshooting guide next
For a focused diagnosis:
- use Troubleshoot GEX and OI data for futures GEX/OI issues;
- use Troubleshoot Crypto Gamma for Crypto Gamma issues;
- use A supported market is missing or appears inactive when the instrument itself is missing or disabled.
What to include in a Support Ticket
If the problem persists, include:
- instrument;
- card/data type;
- selected expiry or context when applicable;
- approximate time the data stopped updating;
- whether other supported markets were updating;
- current plan shown in Billing if card capacity might be involved;
- the exact blank-state or error message.
Do not include account credentials or private payment information.
